EARTH HOUR

I went ahead and signed up for earth hour. I will always be on the fence about global warming. There are so many arrows pointing towards it, but at the same time there are many facts that tell another story. I just want to see if there will be a big difference in just one hour, of non wasted energy all over the world. I know for a fact everyone is guilty of leaving on unused lights in there home. I used to be the biggest waster of electricity in the world until I started paying all the bills when I moved out at 18. Now days if I walk out of a room I turn off the light. I also use energy saving light bulbs that last for years and years only cost a little more and uses 1/2 the energy. last month my electric bill was $20.02. I remember when I was getting lazy about energy usage my electric bill would be around $60.00 every month for my apartment. It is now 2/3 less. Go ahead and make small changes for big differences.
If for nothing else try this to help yourselves save a little extra cash.

Fair Taxation

I am starting to read more on the Fair Tax Bill. No strong opinion yet, BUT I do like the idea of keeping my whole pay check. The FairTax taxes us only on what we choose to spend on new goods or services, not on what we earn. I also like the fact that this would give more power to the individual. I am always for less government. I care about myself in a way the government could never match. So let me take care of myself in a way the government could never match too. While at the same time help the Government with Social Security and Medicare funding.
